Scott Monteith has extensive experience in the areas of marketing, manufacturing, technology transfer, technology licensing, new product development and patent management, as well as corporate development, international business and strategic planning. He is an intuitive individual, who possesses strong management and team building skills.

Mr. Monteith is the founder of Monteco Ltd. and has served as its President and CEO since 1995. Since its inception, Monteco has launched a successful portfolio of companies that include Biox, Imbrium Systems, Green Turtle, Filamat Composites, Imtex Membranes, Riptide Tek and Good Harbour Laboratories. Monteco has also recently acquired both AutoServe1 and Alfacon Solutions.

Mr. Monteith began his technology transfer career in 1991 by launching the Stormceptor System into North America before there was an established market for stormwater treatment products.

Scott Monteith formed Biox Corporation through a technology transfer agreement with the University of Toronto. Scott recognized the product’s potential and further developed it into a commercially viable renewable bio-diesel fuel that is carbon-neutral and non-toxic.

Scott has patented many innovative technologies such as Stormceptor, used for stormwater treatment; FOGWISE, a wireless grease level monitor for food handling establishments and Permylene, a specialized membrane used in olefin-paraffin separation for the petrochemical industry.
